How long have you been geocaching?
Our first find was in November of 2004

How did you choose your handle?
We chose the handle of LACampers

How did you find your first Geocache, and which one was it?
The first cache find for LACampers was Whistle Stop in Audubon Park during the teacher seminar.  The first joint find was the next day at Lafreniere Park, Heart Check by Bamboozle.

Who usually goes with you when you go caching?
Normally it’s Lisa and Jim caching together although we really enjoy group hunts when we can.

How long will you work on puzzle caches before you give up?
We’re not really heavy into puzzle caches but have really enjoyed the ones that we discovered.

What town/areas have you most enjoyed caching in?
We really enjoyed the caches in the Smokey Mountain area but have love the ones closer to home in our own neighborhood.

Do you do paperless caching?
Yes we use a PDA for paperless caching and have recently employed the Droid in the mix.

What kind of geocaching rig do you use?
Jim uses a Garmin 60 CSx and Lisa uses the Magellan Color.

Why would you recommend anyone else to take up geocaching?
We would recommend geocaching to others for an avenue to explore new places and stimulate the imagination for new adventures.  We have discovered many new areas that would remain undiscovered if not for geocaching.

Where are you originally from?
Jim was originally from southern Illinois and Lisa spent her childhood overseas born in Spain living in Germany and Moroccountil spending her high school days in Florida.

States you have geocached?
We have discovered geocaches in LA, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, New Mexico, and Alaska.

What was your first event ever attended?
Our first event cache was at the Fox and Hound in Elmwood where we met many great caching friends.
